For generations, the Yeti Restaurant has been a landmark in the ski resort of Pila.
Nestled in the heart of the Aosta Valley Alps, we offer a unique gastronomic experience that celebrates authentic mountain flavours with a touch of contemporary sophistication.

1983

Foundations

The building that still houses the restaurant today is erected. A place conceived for welcoming guests, born with the idea of becoming a reference point for the community.

1990

Birth & Growth

In 1990, Gianni officially opens Lo Yeti – a refuge for skiers, families and mountain lovers. In those years Katia and Corrado, friends since childhood, grow up among the tables. As they train in the ski club, they also learn the art of hospitality, breathing in every day the spirit of the restaurant.

2009

A Fresh Culinary Touch

Maurizio, a graduate of Artusi in Casale Monferrato and with experiences on Lake Garda and in the Monferrato region, joins Yeti. His arrival brings a gust of energy that reflects in our dishes and gastronomic vision.

2010

Multi‑Talents in Action

Katia and Corrado earn their ski instructor diplomas, keeping the link with the mountains alive. Meanwhile Katia studies communication and advertising and becomes a sommelier, while Corrado works as a bartender: skills that enrich Yeti with taste, storytelling and style.

2017

The Generational Transition

The idea of taking over from Gianni is born. Katia, Corrado and Maurizio decide to take up the challenge, convinced that passion, vision and experience are now in their hands.

2018

New Roads Defined

The management transition becomes concrete: Lo Yeti enters a new phase under the guidance of the second generation, ready to carry forward its values and identity.

2025

35 Years Between Then and Tomorrow

Yeti celebrates 35 years: a story made of hospitality, emotion, mountains and cuisine. A journey that looks to the future, while being rooted in its past.
