What data we process and why

• Browsing data. The servers hosting the site automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser, requested page and time. We use it only to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Messages and table bookings. If you write to us by email, phone or WhatsApp, or through the contact form (the message is sent to our mailbox by email and the site itself stores nothing), we use your name, contact details and what you write to reply and to handle your request or booking (pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• External content. YouTube videos and the Google map are loaded only after you give your consent in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). See the Cookie Policy.

Providing your data is optional, but without it we cannot reply to you or handle your booking. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send newsletters.

Who we share it with

Your data is handled by our staff and by providers who act on our behalf as data processors:

• Vercel Inc. (USA) – website hosting. Transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Resend (Plus Five Five Inc., USA) – delivers the messages written in the contact form to our mailbox. Transfers to the USA are covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Our accountant and IT consultants, where needed.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta) processes the data as an independent controller under its own policy. With your consent, Google Ireland Ltd. (YouTube, Google Maps) does the same. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Browsing data: for a short period, according to the hosting provider’s settings, unless it is needed to investigate abuse.
• Messages and requests: for as long as needed to handle them, and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless the law requires otherwise or we need it to protect our rights.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before. Just write to info@yetipila.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
